EVSS Student Lounge

Did you know the EVSS Program has a student lounge? Located conveniently next to the Program Coordinator's office in the School of Sciences and Mathematics Building (SSMB) Room 256! Your CofC Cougar Card, aka your student ID, provides you access with just a quick swipe. Outfitted with lockers, kitchen staples, computers, and workspace, the lounge is designed by you for you. If you have suggestions on amenities that can be provided, please email MESSA or the Program Coordinator.

Funding Opportunities

Student Funding
MESSA offers a small amount of funding for students in need of research or travel assistance. Awards are disbursed as a reimbursement following the research or travel event. Applicants should fill out the Grant Application Form.

You must volunteer for 2 MESSA events for the semester that you are applying for funding in order to qualify.

Friends of the Edisto
FRED is a non-profit organization, was established in 1998 to facilitate conservation of natural resources and to encourage and support sustainable economic development within the Edisto River Basin in South Carolina.  The Edisto River Basin contains the longest free-flowing blackwater river in America, and encompasses twelve counties, including much of the midlands and low country areas of South Carolina.
